About The Program

The First Fellows Program is an exclusive 6-day capstone immersion in the US, designed to give selected fellows exclusive access to the Bay Area startup ecosystem. Experience curated networking sessions, ecosystem office visits, SF VC workshops, demo days, and meet early-stage APAC founders building in the Bay Area.

Who is this program for?

The First Fellows is designed for students founders, operators and builders across Asia-Pacific who are passionate about startups and technology.

Do I need to be a university student?

This program is meant current university students or dropouts.

Do I need to have a startup idea to apply?

No. What matters most is your initiative, curiosity, and ambition.

Is there a cost to participate in the program?

There is no program fee to join and travel costs are sponsored.

What is the time commitment?

The program runs over several months, with virtual mentorship and startup engagement leading up to the 6-day capstone immersion in the US. Fellows are expected to commit a few hours per month for programming, mentorship, and community events.

Where do I have to be based?

Southeast-Asia & Australia

Do I have to be technical?

No. There is a separate selection track for builders of all kinds.

When will applications open and close?

Application timelines will be shared on the landing page. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews, with final selections announced shortly after.

How competitive is the selection process?

There are only up to 15 spots across many universities.
